Overview of the Application Process

The application process typically involves three steps.

Step 1 — Prepare Your Information

The online application takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete.

You will be asked to provide:

Personal Information

• full name
• current address
• phone number
• email address
• date of birth
• country of birth
• preferred language

IAG Contact Information

• name of your IAG representative or IAG department
• email address of your IAG contact

Educational History (Non-U.S. Education Only)

• names of all secondary schools attended outside the United States
• names of all colleges or universities attended outside the United States
• country/location of each institution
• years attended
• academic program(s) completed
• degrees, diplomas, or certificates awarded

Step 2 — Submit Required Academic Documents

After your application is submitted, Alianza Academic Evaluations will review your file and provide instructions for submitting required official documents.

Official documents must be sent directly to Alianza by:

• the issuing school or university, or
• an authorized examination body, or
• a recognized digital credential service (for example, myCreds, WAEC, etc.)

Scanned documents uploaded by the applicant are used for initial review only.

We will provide detailed instructions based on your country of education.

Translation Requirements

All academic documents must be submitted:

• in the original language, and
• in English translation

Translations must be prepared by:

• the educational institution issuing the document
• a government agency
• an ATA-accredited translator
• another professional translation provider

Translations cannot be prepared by:

• the applicant
• family members
• friends
• recruiters
• recruiting agencies

If needed, Alianza Academic Evaluations can provide certified translations for an additional fee, depending on the language.

Step 3 — Receive Your Credential Evaluation

Once all required official documents have been received and verified, Alianza will finalize your evaluation.

Processing typically takes approximately 15 business days after all required documentation has been received.

Delays in submitting required documents may increase processing time.

Delivery of Your Evaluation

For IAG applicants:

• the completed evaluation is sent directly to you
• the completed evaluation is also provided directly to IAG

Evaluations are not automatically sent to additional institutions, employers, or licensing agencies at the time of issuance.

Additional copies may be ordered later if needed.

Payment Information

Payment is required when submitting the application.

The IAG discounted rate is automatically applied when using this application page.

The discount is available only to active IAG applicants.

If an individual submits an application through the IAG portal but is not an active IAG applicant, full evaluation and translation fees will apply before the evaluation can be issued.
